Indigo has a lot going on; she has to help the alpha with a rescue, help her very pregnant and moody friend and find out why Nico is avoiding her even though he knows she is his mate in this riveting shifter romance.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot grabs the readers' attention from the very beginning and holds them captive throughout with suspense, excitement and romance. Indigo is slow to trust and the reader can't help but get caught up in her romance with Nico as she tries to understand why he is avoiding her. Their chemistry burns hot but their mating isn't going so well with emotional issues from Indigo's past holding her back and Nico's secrets.

The well written scenes and details capture the imagination as spine tingling tension builds when the hunters capture one of their own and Indigo has to use her special talents to help rescue the alpha's sister. Between the romantic drama and the thrilling rescue, not to mention trying to stay out of the pregnant lady's way, there is never a dull moment. To spice things up, there is even a very cheerful, feel-good scene to warm every reader's heart.

While I certainly wish this one had been longer, the author packed a lot of story into this novella full of strong captivating and interesting characters. I can't wait to read the next one.
